-"Lyra please! Don't do this!"

-"I'm sorry Bon Bon, But I have to... There is no turning back now!"

-"But they don't even know if it will work, you might die! And these "Humans" might not even exist! Please Lyra...Please!"

-"I'm sorry Bon...I have already made up my mind. We got the proof when Twilight showed us that time bubble mirror...thingy! Humans exist! There is no doubt about it. You saw it with your own eyes!"

-"I..I..*Sigh* You stubborn mare, there really is no stopping you is there?"

-"I'm sorry, But you know this is my dream, I cannot pass up a chance like this! I'm not getting any younger you know! Twilight will be here long after this is done... but I don't have forever to think about this."

-"Princess Twilight Sparkle, Please start the cryopreservation process. Wish me luck!"

The mint colored unicorn slowly closed her eyes, took a deep breath and prepared for what was to come.

Million of years later, in the scientific station 'profunda glacies' stationed on Antarctica. It's purpose: To study the fossilised forests deep underneath the ice of Antarctica.

The heavy door to the scientific station opens, dragging winter winds into the small room prior to the station interior itself. The thermometer reads a stunning -65.7 degree celsius.
A man clad with layer upon layer of insulating clothes, a thick beard and a fluffy shapka enters the interior with haste in his steps, Shouting to get the attention of the man currently sleeping in the next room.

-"Hey, Get up you bum! You won't belive what we just found! Hell I don't even belive it yet."

-"Huh, wha?"

The now awake man hastily sat up, hitting his head in the bed above his, emitting a laugh from the big, beardy man standing at the entrance of the room.

-"!@&#!, Damn bunk bed! and you better stop laughing if you know what's good for you! Now what is all this commotion about? If I did not hit my head to the extent that I am hearing things, You said you found something?"

-"Yeah we did, and before you get the idea, Don't ask...You must see this with your own eyes! I am uncertain if the entire team down there, me included has gone completely haywire or if that thing in the ice truly is what we belive it to be."

-"Uh, ookay? Give me five minutes."

Felt like writing a little story for the picture. Hope it was believable enough...

I really want to write a story from both the humans point of view when finding Lyra and exploring the castle halls ( see the link added to the description of this page ) but also Lyra's point of view from before the cryosleep and also after being found and resuscitated.
This story also eliminates the issue with " the whole world finding out about it and taking her/doing experiments." Simply because of the extreme isolation of the scientist station and also the wish to keep it a secret by a man who understands the complications of spreading this shocking find to the world. (Perhaps even growing fond of Lyra?)

Sadly I don't have the time right now...Maybe someday
